Principal's Message

Dear Bronx River Families,

Hello, and welcome to the 2024-2025 school year, Bronx River’s 12th year!  I am so incredibly excited to be afforded the honor and privilege of serving the Bronx River High School Community as your principal. 

Twelve years ago I founded Bronx River High School in order to create a school community that affords our students a strong academic experience combined with a supportive and inclusive environment.  I am committed to ensuring that all of our students are provided with a high-quality education in an environment where our students, families, and staff feel welcomed, valued, and respected. I am so proud of what we have accomplished.  Our school is ranked 12th in the Bronx for IMPACT out of 110 high schools (source: NYC School Performance Dashboard).  We are the highest performing school in District 8 (source: NYC School Quality Guide).  Our graduation rate for the last three years was 95%, 100%, and 94%.  

I vow to lead as a partner, an active listener, and most of all, as a strong advocate for children and the dedicated teachers and staff who work passionately in support of their academic and social-emotional growth. At Bronx River, students will always be at the forefront of the decisions we make as a school. 

I firmly believe Bronx River has the best students, families, and staff! I am excited about continuing the great work we've started and working together towards great accomplishments in support of your children.
